One Roof, Three Magazines, Countless Brands
As Art Director of Marketing at Wenner Media, I created campaigns across three concurrent publications, Rolling Stone, Us Weekly, and Men's Journal, uniting client brands with some of the most recognizable mastheads in publishing. Every advertorial, photoshoot, and sales piece had to feel native to the magazine while delivering for the partner, and I directed a team of Junior Designers to make that happen at pace.
For Rolling Stone, I worked closely with the sales account team on a bespoke printed piece die-cut in the shape of a pair of Havaianas flip flops, a tactile proof of concept that the Rolling Stone brand was a natural fit for their audience. The piece directly supported the team in winning the Havaianas partnership.
For Us Weekly, I developed a bespoke Showtime/Dexter advertorial that won the MIN Award for excellence in magazine advertising, one of the publishing industry's most recognized honors.
For Men's Journal, I created a six month advertorial series for TwinLab built around a physical endurance contest, showcasing the product line while searching for the next man and woman to lead Team Fuel and be featured in the magazine.
